Put, for, as God's chosen, holy and beloved, with compassion, of benignity, of humility, of gentleness, patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. For as Christ forgave, so also do ye. And above all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond. And the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; And be thankful. The word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing with grace in your hearts to God in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Colossians 3:12-16

The concept of gratitude which contains this passage is much more than a simple "thank God for ...". The word gratitude to take action related in any way. According to the Apostle Paul is speaking to the brethren at Colosse, Christians have a way to be distinguished and specifically mentions the need to not try to impress with attitudes and customs that only deal with appearances. Then, begins to talk about the true characteristics that identify us. Finally, Paul mentions being thankful all the time as something special that sets everyone who lives in Christ.

As Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Ephesians 2:1, God gave us life in Christ and makes us new creatures to enable us to start living that life in Him. It requires effort on the part of each power dressing as God's chosen. In fact the basis of life as a new creature is in recognizing what our own identity and the key is to search out to enjoy eternal life(John 5:39 and 17:3). This allows us to live and valuing each other as to who we are and what we do. Only in this way we can thank God for his grace and mercy. Be grateful!

For we are God's work in, and you are the breeding ground of God, God's building. According to the grace of God given to me, I, as a wise architect, I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But every man take heed how he builds up. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now, if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, the work of each will be evident; for the day will be announced, it will be revealed with fire. The fire itself will test the quality of the work of each. If anyone's work from someone who has built on it, receive a reward. If someone's work is burned up, suffer loss; however, he shall be saved, yet so as through fire.  1 Corinthians 3:9 – 15

At a time when the desire to grow and achieve their dreams materially egocentric leaders full of information but little training is misrepresenting the purpose of the Church of Christ, is necessary to meditate on the teachings of the Apostle Paul to churches that were beginning to receive erroneous precepts. This passage alerts us clear guidelines were established by Jesus Christ himself and then taught by the apostles, Ministers are laborers together with the Great Architect, Saints Church is the building. The design is given by him and no one can improve, expand or adapt to the circumstances. The foundation is one, Christ, and we sobredificamos above Him.

According to our governments accountable for the actions we take as citizens of a country, and we are accountable as good stewards of how we use the resources of the Kingdom that we have received from the King. When considering the seriousness of the role that has been assigned in the Kingdom of God and we consider that He has given us everything necessary (2 Peter 1:3-4) regarding the execution of that role, we come to understand the great responsibility we have to grow in spiritual knowledge and good servants to meet. Equally, we become aware of the diversity of functions and capabilities within the Body, coming to appreciate everyone for who they are and not what they do.

Why does it seem so difficult for many to follow simple guidelines so how are you?
